eLearning is becoming a popular and extremely effective way for apprentices to start their careers. At PVC we offer all of our courses online through PVC’s eLearning Portal (PeP) Link: pvc.school. We call this delivery DISTANCELIVE.  PVC’s DistanceLive delivery is different than what you may have experienced before with eLearning.  Attendance and participation is actively encouraged just as if you were in a classroom.  Class starts at 7:30 and ends at 3:00 during which time you are connected to your classmates as well as your instructor through live chat, voice, live lectures and video.  Through DistanceLive you are able to get a classroom face to face experience without the commute or inconvenience that comes with travelling to school. The content is delivered to you in the form of video, interactive assessments, manuals, and quizzes. These methods along with your instructor offer immediate feedback and can guide you through your technical training requirements. Depending on your level of training some practical assignments will require you to travel to the shop at PVC or a designated PVC facility. Certain exams and practical assignments must be done in person at PVC or a PVC designated facility.
